Background

The survey builds on the 2019 and 2022 editions, which contributed to key industry publications such as the National Aquatic Workforce Report 2023 and the National Aquatic Workforce Framework. These resources have been instrumental in raising the profile of the industry and advocating for its workforce.

Shaun Jackson, National Manager - Training and Workforce Development at Royal Life Saving Australia has said:

We’ve seen the positive impact the survey reports and the Framework have had in helping our industry to better tell its story over several years now. It has really made a difference, and we are very grateful to every individual and organisation for their support.’
