Royal Life Saving's Grey Medallion program helps adults to develop essential lifesaving and water safety skills to participate in aquatic recreation activities safely.
This practical program teaches personal survival techniques, improved swimming skills, what to do in emergency situations and provides a thorough understanding of water safety knowledge to reduce the likelihood of drowning.
Whether you like to recreate around water, participate in aquatic activities, are responsible for supervising young children or are looking for a challenge, the Grey Medallion program is for you. Equip yourself with the knowledge and skills to be safer in, on and around water.
Get involved and take part
There are several ways that you can participate in the Grey Medallion program. Programs are conducted at aquatic facilities and venues, through grant programs or at times through a State or Territory office. If there’s not one in your local area why not get a group of friends or your local community group together to register your interest at your local facility or Royal Life Saving office.
