Australian Water Safety Strategy 2030 Mid-Point Review
Royal Life Saving, in collaboration with other members of The Australian Water Safety Council, have organised a series of 2024 events as part of the Australian Water Safety Strategy mid-point review. These symposiums, workshops, meetings, and webinars aim to assess and advance drowning prevention action in the strategic focus areas of the Australian Water Safety Strategy 2030. Broadly, these events serve to foster meaningful partnerships within Australia's drowning prevention sector, improve our understanding of the complex nature of various components of the drowning problem, share research and evidence that helps guide our prevention approach, and develop new strategies for preventing drowning and increasing swimming, water safety and lifesaving skills for all.
