AM2 - Asset Management Policy

Purpose

To determine the overall intentions and directions of an organisation related to its management of assets at an aquatic facility.

Description

An Asset Management Policy should clearly state the organisations objectives for and commitment to, asset management at the aquatic location and address the following:

• Management structure, accountabilities and responsibilities for managing asset at the aquatic location
• The organisational commitment to providing resources to assist those who are responsible and accountable for managing assets
• The link between other organisational policies (where relevant)
• The way in which asset management performance will be measured and reported within the aquatic facility
• The internal and external communication and consultation methodologies
• The commitment to continually monitor, review and continually improve the asset management system
